President Donald Trump picked his friend Tom Brady and the New England Patriots to defeat the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl 51.

The clock is ticking down until the official start of Super Bowl 51 between the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots on Sunday. Donald Trump gave an interview with Bill O’Reilly before the game on FOX. Having the president given an interview before the Super Bowl has become a tradition and now it’s Trump’s turn to talk about the country, the future and of course, his Super Bowl pick.

Trump’s been noted for his friendship with the hierarchy of the Patriots and quarterback Tom Brady. Therefore it should come as no surprise that Trump is sticking with his friends in the Super Bowl. His pick was New England to win by eight points (Video courtesy of TMZ).

Defeating Atlanta will be no easy task for the Patriots. With an offense that has been one of the greatest in NFL history, New England will have their work cut out for them trying to stop the many weapons that the Falcons have.

Still, it’s hard to rule out Brady and the Patriots when it comes to the Super Bowl. Their specialty is taking away what the other team likes to do best and that’s what they’re going to try to do in Super Bowl 51.

Trump ultimately believes in the latter and he thinks the Patriots will come away with the big win and their fifth in franchise history on Sunday. If they don’t, people likely aren’t going to forget just who the president supported in the big game.
