The New England Patriots are currently getting blown out of Super Bowl 51, and Twitter is going in on them.
Tom Brady has never had a Super Bowl quite like this one.
His Patriots are currently down 21-0 to the Atlanta Falcons, a team that many pundits didn’t even think would even hang with their more experienced opponent. Well, it seems that the Falcons have become “America’s Team,” mainly because there are a lot of fans out there who don’t want to see Brady hoist his fifth Vince Lombardi Trophy.
As we expected, Twitter is going in on the Patriots’ blowout. Here’s a sample of the best (and hilarious) we have found on this unforgiving site:

We could show the Patriots some mercy and stop here, but, what the heck? Let’s pick out a few more.

Now, of course, Patriots fans are not giving up hope. We still have 40 more minutes of football that has to be played. These diehard Pats fans aren’t giving up hope:

Well, this is to be expected when the most polarizing team in the world is getting worked in the Super Bowl.
