The pop icon sang about acceptance, honored the United States’ diversity and jumped off the roof of the NRG Stadium during her12-minute long performance.

115 million estimated viewers watched Lady Gaga sing “Poker Face, Born This Way, Telephone, Just Dance, Million Reasons and Bad Romance.”

Lady Gaga opened her show on the roof of the stadium to sing This Land is My Land. Drones were used throughout the game to film players, but formed a giant American flag as Gaga jumped off the roof.

Gaga sparkled in a bedazzled leotard and utilized every space on stage with backup dancers. During the ballad, she played a piano and surrounded her stage with fans waving yellow LED lights.

The “Million Reasons” singer hoped her performance would showcase American diversity. She also said it would be “inclusive” and celebrate “the spirit of equality.”

“I have an opportunity with this performance to show a different part of this country that those who think that they are so different from me and my fans — to see that our hearts are really the same,” she told Michael Strahan in an interview Sunday.

Prior to the performance, media outlets wondered whether Gaga would dare to unleash a political statement on the crowd. A false rumor was spread that she was told otherwise, but the NFL denied that claim.

Gaga is set to announce her 2017 tour dates and venues following her latest full-length album Joanne.
