If you aren’t near a television for Super Bowl 51, you can still catch the game on your phone, but only if you have a certain carrier.
First of all, why aren’t you near the television for this game? You have known for the better part of six months (or at least should have known) that Super Bowl LI was going to be played on Feb. 5, 2017. If you didn’t know, shame on you.
That said, we are here to help. If you cant get near a TV, you can watch the big game on your phone, provided you have Verizon as a carrier. If you do, you simply need to download the NFL app onto your phone and from there, you can stream the game for free.
The quality of the game depends on your connection, but you should be good to go. Throughout the season, Verizon has carried the games and most fans have had few complaints about the quality or stream service.
Unfortunately, if you do not have Verizon, you will have to find another way to take in Super Sunday. Maybe use your phone to do some FaceTime with the friends back home, who can set their phone up on a table, pointed at the television. It’s not the best solution on earth, but it is better than nothing.
