High Value SF

Marcus Morris, DET vs PHI ($5500): Morris has scored at least 11 points in 10 of his last 11 games, averaging 17.8 points, 6.0 boards, 2.5 assists, 0.7 combined steals/blocks and 1.2 turnovers over that stretch. He is consistently putting points on the board and playing big minutes (36 mpg in that stretch), and on Monday he faces a 76ers defense sans Joel Embiid that has allowed the 15th-most fantasy points to small forwards on the season. ***

P.J. Tucker, PHO at NO ($4700): Tucker continues to quietly play the garbage man role for the Suns frontcourt, handling the gritty work and defensive assignments while knocking down enough treys to remain DFS-viable. He scored 13 points with a whopping seven steals on Saturday, following up a 10 points/14 rebounds double-double two games earlier against the Clippers, which followed a more rounded 12 points, six boards, five assists effort two games previous against the Nuggets. On Monday he’ll be facing a Pelicans team that has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to small forwards over the last 10 games. ***

Matt Barnes, SAC vs CHI ($3800): Barnes finally moved into the starting line-up for the Kings with the injury to Garrett Temple, and he has responded with three straight double-digit rebound efforts and averages of 11.7 boards, 7.3 points, 3.0 assists, 1.0 combined steals/blocks and 1.3 turnovers over that stretch. On Monday he will face a Bulls defense that allows the 12th-most fantasy points to small forwards this season. He has the shortest track record of the forwards mentioned here, but his very low price tag earns him an extra star. ****
