In a new video released by Nintendo, we see a complete overview for the hardware of the Nintendo Switch.

With the Nintendo Switch less than a month away, we learn more and more about it every day. New details are always being revealed, such as games that are coming to the console. We also learn certain details about the console itself, like specifications.

In a new video released by Nintendo on YouTube, the focus is solely on the hardware for the upcoming console. For example, the introduction for the video explains what the console is.

At its core, it’s still a home console, like most of Nintendo’s past systems. You can connect the console to your TV and play from the comfort of your home. However, what sets it apart from the rest is how you can take it with you on the go.

Whenever you have to go somewhere but still want to game, you simply remove the screen from the dock and the game is now on your screen as a portable device. It really doesn’t get any better than that.

The video also explains the use of the Joy-Con controllers. The Joy-Cons can be used in a variety of ways. For example, you can attach them to the Joy-Con Grip and use it as a regular controller to play on your TV or straight from the screen.

You can use them freely on each hand for a more relaxing feel, or you can attach them to the Switch screen when you want to play on the go. There’s also tabletop mode, which is where you place the Switch on a table with a stand and play from there.

The Joy-Cons also allow for multiplayer gaming. You simply give one to one of your friends and play together or against each other.
