Milwaukee Bucks forward Jabari Parker had to be helped off the court after re-injuring his surgically repaired knee on Wednesday night.

A scary scene unfolded on the court for the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night, as the team took on the Miami Heat at home. With the two sides battling for playoff positioning, star forward Jabari Parker hit the ground with a non-contact injury. His teammates rushed to him immediately as he held his leg.

It was the same knee that he had surgically repaired after injuring it in 2014 against the Phoenix Suns. For Parker, pain overtook him right away and he was helped off the court by his teammates as the founds gave him a round of applause in support.

This is certainly an injury no one wants to see. Parker is a great young man and one of the rising stars in the league. To injure the same knee again is certainly a cause for concern for the Bucks. Nothing is known at this time about the severity of the injury, so let’s hope for the best.

When it comes to young cores in the NBA with the brightest futures, the Bucks have to be near the top of the list. They have assembled a ton of young talent that continue to develop into great players in this league.

Parker has fought through adversity with his knee once and there’s no doubt if he’s out an extended time, he will do it again. However, this hurts the Bucks in the short term as they aim to make a playoff push.
