For the Pac-12, the final third of the 2017 conference schedule will be a battle royal for conference supremacy and it may not be the last time we see a change atop the conference standings.

This week, like the one before, provides us with some intriguing conference matchups that could possibly shake up the conference power rankings this time next week. Oregon and Arizona continued their tug-o-war atop the conference mountain. Meanwhile, below them you’ve got a surging Cal squad that is trying to improve their NCAA seeding and Utah is playing themselves out of the field of 68. However, like every week, we start at the bottom with Oregon State — yes, again.

Oregon State Beavers

Last week: 4-20 (0-11 Pac-12)
Last rank: 12

Another week and once again we see the losing streak of the Oregon State Beavers extended, this time to 11 games. The Beavers are sitting 10 games back in the conference and no postseason is pretty much destined for this team. This week they travel to Los Angeles with little-to-no hope of being competitive against both USC and UCLA. The next potential chance for the Beavers’ first win in conference comes in two weeks when they host a struggling Colorado team. Aside from that, it may be a cold day in hell before Oregon State picks up that elusive conference win.

Washington Huskies

Last week: 9-14 (2-9 Pac-12)
Last rank: 11

Washington continues their midseason slide with their two losses to both UCLA and USC this past week. Despite playing close and competitive against Arizona State, Arizona and USC, the Huskies were humiliated by UCLA on Sunday, losing 107-66. In what could be Lorenzo Romar’s final season in Seattle, we’re seeing a tremendous but wasted season from Washington guard Markelle Fultz. The projected No. 1 pick in the 2017 NBA Draft is averaging 23 points per game and will be a surefire all-conference selection. However, he will not see one second of NCAA or NIT time.
