The Replay: The last hope for Atlanta

Let’s be honest, it has been a tough week for Atlanta. The Falcons’ Super Bowl loss has got to be one of the most heartbreaking losses in the history of sports. We feel for Atlanta. Deeply. We are also all about positivity in 2017, so we decided to shine a light on Atlanta’s great hope for a title. The Hawks.

Neither of us are what you would call “Hawks fans,” but that did not stop us from digging in. We start off with a discussion of our favorite Hawks players. El stays true to her German heritage, casting her vote for Dennis Schroder. As much as she loves Schroder, however, she cautions all of you to steer clear of his Atlanta hookah bar. It failed its health inspection miserably. Perhaps not surprisingly, Al voted for Kent Bazemore. They both share a love of Steph Curry and Chance the Rapper. What more could you ask for?!

This episode is also full of discoveries. We learn that what Mike Scott lacks in taste in tattoos, he more than makes up for in parenting skills. We learn a bit too much bout Al’s disdain for Kris Humphries and that Gucci Mane proposed with an insanely huge rock. As much as we love Gucci Mane, The Replay does not endorse proposals at basketball games. Finally, we challenge each other to a game of Hotlanta Trivia. Spoiler alert, El is not a fan of Migos.
