Devin Booker roasts Grizzlies’ Troy Daniels after trash talk (Video)
Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker went off on Memphis Grizzlies guard Troy Daniels after the two engaged in some trash talk on the court.
In a night that’s been full of altercations in the NBA, the Phoenix Suns and Memphis Grizzlies engaged in one that took place on the court. Near the end of a blowout win for the Grizzlies, the two teams got into a skirmish that started after some trash talking between Suns guard Devin Booker and Grizzlies guard Troy Daniels.
Eventually all the players on the court were involved and there were some ejections. Booker’s never been one to be afraid of a challenge and after the game, he went off on Daniels to reporters. Booker mentioned that he didn’t understand why Daniels would trash talk him when he’s been a journeyman during his career.

At 20 years old, Booker is one of the youngest players in the league but he’s also one that’s quickly on the rise. He’s had several impressive scoring feats this year and just came off of a streak of 16-straight 20-plus point games.
The roles that Booker and Daniels have for their teams are very different in how they’re perceived, yet it’s clear a feud is emerging. Booker plays the game hard and isn’t afraid to mix it up with others on the court.
While some might not like the way Booker is handling the situation, it’s always refreshing to see some classic trash talk. The Grizzlies got the last laugh with the win but there’s no doubt that the shooting guard on the Suns is developing a personality for himself.
