When will the Duke Blue Devils and North Carolina Tar Heels play their second game of the 2016-17 season?

The Duke Blue Devils and North Carolina Tar Heels tipped off for the first time of the season on Thursday night, and it was another classic. Grasyon Allen drained seven three-point field goals and Jayson Tatum was a monster inside. The Tar Heels tried their best to steal the game on the road, but the Blue Devils picked up their fourth win in a row.

The good news is that these teams will play again this season. They will meet in Chapel Hill on March 4, at 8:15 p.m. ET to play for the second time. Last year, Duke was able to steal a game on the road in Chapel Hill behind the incredible heroics of Allen.

The Tar Heels will probably be fired up for that one just as they were on the road on Thursday night. These two teams are loaded with talent and their first battle of the season did not disappoint at all. After dropping the game to the Tar Heels at home last year, the Blue Devils made sure they took care of their court this season.

Tatum was scoreless in the first half of the game, but he managed to pick it up in the second half and score 20 points. He found a spot he liked and he kept hammering his shot home until he got it to fall at the rim.

This game was about Allen at the end of the day. His seven three’s were too much for the Tar Heels to handle and a reminder of how great he can be when he’s at his best. The next game can’t come soon enough.
