The Baltimore Orioles have their first full workout of on February 17. Here’s everything you need to know about Spring Training 2017.

Spring Training is right around the corner and the Baltimore Orioles are migrating to Florida to start the Grapefruit League season ahead of Opening Day 2017. The Orioles finished 2016 with an 89-73 record in a two-way tie for second place in the AL East.

The Orioles call Sarasota, Florida, their home away from home and Ed Smith Stadium is their home base. Pitchers and catchers report on February 13 and start workouts on February 14. Position players arrive on February 16 and the full squad will start workouts on February 17.

Opening Day will be celebrated across two days in 2017, starting with three prime time games on Sunday, April 2. The Orioles will play the Blue Jays in their home opener on April 3 at 3:05 p.m.
