Buddy Hield is now Buddy Balls

Buddy Hield just likes to ball. Hours after grabbing DeMarcus Cousins by the junk, and getting ejected for it, Hield was caught grabbing his own junk. Guess we have to change his nickname to Buddy Balls instead of Buddy Buckets. The photo comes courtesy of Anthony Davis’ Snapchat. Give the NBA a couple of weeks and they’ll be banning all plane related content on Snapchat, just like they’ve banned all fun on Twitter.

The league owes Hield an apology for ejecting him from the Pelicans vs. Kings game. It’s unfair to eject a guy for doing unto others as he would do unto himself, correct? They don’t need to replay the game, just factor in Hield’s scoring average into the final score. The Kings won 105-99. Hield had five points. He averages 8.6 points. So, the Kings still win 105-102.6. Sorry, Pelicans, I tried to help you out.

Let’s discuss the real story here. Alexis Ajinca chilling behind Hield with his headphones on, looking like Donnie Darko. Did he look like that on purpose because he saw AD with the camera? Or is that just how he looks when he sits behind a guy who likes to grab nuts? It’s a mix of worry, creepy, and aloof that I’m not sure we’ll ever see again.
