This UCONN fan just wants a valentine for tomorrow. Why not Doris Burke?

The UCONN women’s basketball team was going for its 100th straight win tonight. Arguably the most dominant team in the history of American sports, it’s truly incredible they have a chance at making history tonight.

Of course, this one won’t come easy. The team they face is top 10-ranked South Carolina. UCONN has to not only defeat one of the better teams in the country, but they must face the pressure on themselves of reaching a milestone.

A game this big is going to get a lot of national attention. ESPN has some of their best at the game, including the always incredible Doris Burke. One of the most beloved commentators and sideline reporters in basketball, Burke is a fan favorite everywhere. For one fan, she’s such a favorite he wants her to be his valentine tomorrow.

This is sweet. One young fan gets to meet one of the best commentators out there and Burke gets a really cool sign. Props to the fan for his creativity, changing letters to numbers, to get 100 in the sign. The real question, though, is did Burke accept being his valentine tomorrow?

Tomorrow is a super stressful day for us single folk. No person to hangout with. Annoying music on the radio all day. Every restaurant in the world promoting their couples specials such as buy one get one half off. It’s rough.

Well, don’t get discouraged about it. This fan had the guts to ask a legend to be his valentine and you can do the same! Maybe that valentine doesn’t invovle a person, but an object instead. PlayStation, Xbox, a bottle of bourbon. The world is yours and everything can be a valentine if you wish hard enough.

Also, it’s totally cool to take advantage of that buy one get one half off deal by yourself. That’s a regular lunch and half off dinner. You can’t beat that deal.
