FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 15

1 of 11

The NBA has a packed slate of 14 games in tonight’s DFS fantasy basketball competitions. Get your team in the game with FanSided’s FanDuel daily picks.

A day after a three-game slate, the NBA has an almost-full schedule on Wednesday with 14 games going, with action tipping off starting at 7:00 p.m. ET. At 7:00, lineups will lock with the Spurs at the Magic and the Pacers at the Cavs. Four games tip at 7:30, including the Mavericks at the Pistons, the 76ers at the Celtics, the Bucks at the Nets and the Hornets at the Raptors.

At 8:00, the Heat are in Houston and New Orleans travels to Memphis. Three games at 9:00 include the Timberwolves at the Nuggets, the Lakers at the Suns and the Trail Blazers at the Jazz. The schedule finishes off with the Knicks at the Thunder at 9:30, followed by two night-cap games at 10:30 with the Hawks at the Clippers and the Kings at the Warriors.

All told, we’re talking 28 teams with 140 starters playing, so your palette for putting your team together is wide open. There are fun match-ups everywhere, both for DFS and just to watch. Early in the evening we get Paul George against LeBron; a bunch of value-play bigs for Philly against the evolutionary Answer Isaiah Thomas; and the Greek Freak against the worst defense in the NBA. At 9:00 we get Karl-Anthony Towns and Nikola Jokic head-to-head! And end the night with DeMarcus Cousins facing off against the best team in the league. And that’s just a sampling of all the action on this, the last full night before the All Star break.

My favorite plays of the day can be found on the following slides in FanSided’s FanDuel daily picks. Each day in order to offer a variety of price points at each position, you can find two slides for each position–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each pick is ranked on a scale of 1-5 stars to indicate the confidence in the pick. The final slide of this post has more detail on what each level means, but in short, more stars means more confidence in the selection on a points-per-dollar basis.

Important note: Every day the goal of this post is not to give you a copy-and-paste lineup. Instead, each selection is given while highlighting the factors you need to consider when building a customized lineup for yourself. If you want to see an example lineup, you can find it on the final slide of the post, but I suggest you adjust your lineup to fit your personal taste.

To keep up with all of FanSided’s DFS NBA coverage head over to the fantasy basketball hub where each day you can find a post like this tailored for FanDuel as well as one specifically designed for usage on DraftKings.  In this post, all salary and “fantasy points” references are to FanDuel scoring system and salaries.
