Vince Young has not played in the NFL since 2011, but it appears he is ready to make a comeback to the game he loves.

At one time, Vince Young was considered the best young quarterback in football. After an epic career at the University of Texas, Young was supposed to be the heir apparent to Steve McNair in Tennessee, but he never really lived up the expectations. On Wednesday, Young hired super-agent Leigh Steinberg, and all signs point to him being serious about this comeback. Young was the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2006 and played in two Pro Bowls as a member of the Titans.

Speaking of the Tennessee Titans, they plan to hold out their current starting quarterback until training camp begins. Marcus Mariota, who burst onto the scene with a breakout season in 2016, broke his leg during the team’s Week 16 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has steadily grown into one of the best young quarterbacks in the league and has his Titans knocking on the door to the playoffs.

Ryan Clady, who spent the past season with the New York Jets, will not be heading back to the team next season. Clady was expected to make $10 million dollars with the Jets next season, but the team decided to decline his option. The Jets are coming off a five-win season in 2016, as they completely played well below expectations after just missing out on the playoffs the year before.

There will be 330 prospects heading to the scouting combine prior to the 2017 NFL Draft, but former Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly will not be one of them. Kelly, the nephew of Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly, has had discipline issues during his time in college. Originally invited to the combine, Kelly’s invite was rescinded by the league on Wednesday, but the plan is still for him to go to Indy and have the league tell him no there.

Finally, some Tom Brady news. As if his life was not scripted for a movie already, Brady is actually going to have his life become a movie. Brady’s life story will be made into a feature film and a book, both of which will chronicle his run to a fifth Super Bowl title. You could not have scripted the ending better, as Brady led the Patriots back from 25 points down in the second half to beat the Falcons in overtime.
