Robin Lopez puts the moves on Al Horford for dunk
By Noah Torr
The Chicago Bulls are playing against the Boston Celtics Thursday night and Robin Lopez put a nice move on Al Horford in transition.
Robin Lopez is the starting center for the Chicago Bulls. He is not known for his spectacular moves against opponents, but tonight he decided would be the night to make Al Horford look dumb.
Off the feed from Jimmy Butler, Lopez runs down the floor, stops mid-dribble, spins to avoid the looming Horford, and gets a nice easy dunk.
The most impressive part about this is that Horford is usually not one to fly past his target and leave him unattended. But Lopez was able to shake him and get the easy bucket.
Lopez has been doing quite all right for the struggling Chicago Bulls this season. Averaging 9.7 points along with 6.9 rebounds per game, he has been productive on the defensive end for the Bulls this season.
Robin Lopez has always been a guy that you can count on to be there on the defensive end of the floor or to go and chase down the loose ball. The allure of Lopez is his hustle and heart.
Horford has been playing very well this season, despite the high expectations heading into Boston. He is averaging 14.8 points along with a career-low 6.7 rebounds per game. Those low rebounding numbers do not help this Boston Celtics team that needs more rebounding. The bright side is that Horford is averaging 5.0 assists per game, which is a career-best for the veteran.
Lopez does not get the chance to put the moves on defenders very often and make them look silly, but tonight was the night for him.

Lopez entered halftime with nine points and four rebounds against the Celtics and is establishing his presence down-low against Horford. If Lopez can do another spin move like this against someone else, the Bulls might have to move him over to point guard.
