NBA All-Star Weekend can be a lot of fun. When the Slam Dunk Contest and the 3-Point Shootout at competitive there aren’t many professional sporting league’s who can match the NBA’s All-Star festivities. Of course, neither of those things are the actual NBA All-Star Game. So in an effort to make sure the entire weekend is as fun as it can be we here at The Step Back decided give fans a reason to care about and watch the two basketball games on this weekend. Welcome to NBA Bingo.

The idea started on our old site The Friendly Bounce and the premise is simple. We were bored one day we started talking in an email thread about ways to make games even more fun. Then someone came up with the idea to add a competitive element to game watching, like Bingo. So we started to throw out a bunch of different ideas to fill out a Bingo card and our game was born.

Some things will almost certainly happen like Nikola Jokic throwing a ridiculous pass in the Rising Stars game. Or Devin Booker making three 3-pointers. Others are tougher. Things like Frank Kaminsky blocking someone, especially in a game with little to no defense. Or Domantas Sabonis using his right hand.

Want to play? Great. All you have to do is head to this website and fill in each box with some of the following things:

  • Jahlil Okafor does something boring.
  • Malcolm Brogdon dunks on someone.
  • Kristaps Porzingis tip dunk.
  • D’Angelo Russell no-look pass.
  • Karl-Anthony Towns goes coast-to-coast.
  • Devin Booker hits his third 3-pointer.
  • Marquese Chriss dunks and Twitter flips out.
  • Someone plays actual defense.
  • Brandon Ingram steal and dunk.
  • Frank Kaminsky blocks someone.
  • Jonathon Simmons runs hammer but no one is in the corner for a three.
  • Myles Turner records a block and a three.
  • Alex Abrines makes people wish Joel Embiid was playing.
  • Dante Exum crosses someone up.
  • Nikola Jokic throws a nasty pass.
  • A team goes up by 20 points.
  • A team blows a 20-point lead.
  • NBA star shown on sideline with ridiculous outfit.
  • Travel.
  • Someone takes a terrible shot.
  • Careless turnover.
  • Missed dunk.
  • Buddy Hield “connects down low.”
  • Someone does the Greg Monroe troll. 

Once your card is full, hit generate on the bottom of the card and the site will randomize it for you. From there hit the play online button on the side and you can play along. Then, when you get Bingo tweet us a picture of your filled in card or leave a picture on our Facebook page (which you really should have liked at this point) and you will be the winner for the night. While you win nothing but internet bragging rights (which is everything to be honest), we can promise it will be a lot of fun. Or at least more fun than Alex Abrines.
