After another Hall of Fame snub, Terrell Owens is holding nothing back – and continues to take shots at another top receiver, Cris Carter.

By now, the secret is out that former NFL receiver Terrell Owens is not happy with being snubbed again for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Ever since finding out that he was not being inducted yet again, the former top pass catcher who spent time with San Francisco, Dallas, Philadelphia, Cincinnati and Buffalo has made it clear he thinks he should be in Canton.

One of the targets of his criticism lately has been another receiver who had to wait before getting inducted into the Hall of Fame, former Philadelphia, Minnesota and Miami star Cris Carter. In earlier comments, Carter has been one of those to call Ownes a candidate with flaws.

Well, T.O. had a little something to say in response and went DEEP into the book of shade to throw past indiscretions back in Carter’s face during an interview with WFAN radio in New York:

"“I was better than Cris Carter. So he shouldn’t mention anything about anybody, especially me, about being a flawed candidate when here’s a guy who got released, flunked three drug tests from Philly — cocaine and alcohol addiction — and then there was somewhere down the road he’s telling guys to ask somebody to be a fall guy.”"

Of course, Owens is referring in that last sentence to the time Carter so eloquently told rookies back in 2014 to have a fall guy when they went out places and in their lives. Some are going to call Owens’ comments over the top, but those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones if they have a past littered with many pebbles.

Owens has said that, as of now, the Hall of Fame doesn’t mean anything to him and it really doesn’t matter that he isn’t in. Truth is, when you look at his numbers (1,078 receptions for 15,934 yards and 153 touchdowns in 15 seasons), there is no reason he shouldn’t be inducted already.
