Ex-Lions CB Stanley Wilson II was arrested Saturday after attempting to break into a house in Oregon.

Stanley Wilson II is in police custody once again. According to court documents obtained by The Oregonianpolice were called to a home after the owner reported hearing “alarming statements” Saturday. Furthermore, police say Wilson appeared from a shed naked. Authorities took Wilson to Marion County Jail. Consequently, Wilson has now been arrested on three different occasions for the intrusions.

Police spokesman Jason Horton was unsure if Wilson had a lawyer. His jail listing described no lawyer. The prosecutor’s office was closed on Sunday, according to Horton. Moreover, Wilson had no prior criminal history before his June arrest in Portland when he was shot and also found naked. Court records show Wilson had struggled with drug addiction, including methamphetamines.

Wilson was sentenced to 10 days in jail. He was arrested for “running around” and bail was set at $160,000 after a mid-January arrest. According to Multnomah County Police, Wilson also faces first-degree burglary, attempted first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree disorderly conduct and aggravated harassment charges.

Formerly, the Lions drafted Wilson out of Stanford in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He totaled three seasons with Detroit, totaling 86 tackles and zero career interceptions. His father, Stanley Wilson Sr., played six seasons as the Cincinnati Bengals running back.

Wilson has not appeared in the NFL since the conclusion of the 2007 season.

With his third arrest in less than a year, it is time Wilson seeks help for his recent actions. Wilson may go down an even worse path considering the factors of drugs involved. What started with burglaries and intrusions may escalate into the abuse of others, not just property.
