Lonzo Ball’s father says his son is better than Stephen Curry
By Noah Torr
LeVar Ball, Lonzo Ball’s father, thinks that his son is superior to Steph Curry.
Yep. You read that right. LeVar Ball thinks his son, Lonzo Ball, is better than Steph Curry right now. In an interview last week with TMZ, LeVar was quoted as saying his son will “be better than Steph Curry.” Then when questioned about his statement he made an even bigger statement.
“I’m going to tell you right now, he’s better than Stephen Curry to me,” Ball’s father said. “Put Steph Curry on UCLA’s team right now and put my boy on Golden State and watch what happens.”
When he said, “Watch what happens,” I think he means watch Golden State go down the gutter and watch UCLA return to its glory days.
I applaud LeVar for having the utmost confidence in his son, but you can’t compare a freshman in college to a two-time MVP. That is ludicrous.
If you put Steph Curry on UCLA right now, UCLA is going to win the title, no questions asked. If Lonzo Ball is on Golden State right now, the Warriors are not championship contenders.
Granted, both players are very good passer and can shoot deep threes, but there is a big difference between a future rookie and a two-time MVP and an NBA champion.

Currently, Lonzo is averaging 15.4 points, 7.6 assists, and 6.1 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, Curry is averaging 24.7 points, 6.4 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game. One is in the NBA and one is in college.
LeVar was showing the world that he has faith in his son and that is impressive, but no way Lonzo is better Curry.
