NBA All-Star Game: Russell Westbrook avoids Kevin Durant during warmups
Russell Westbrook warms up on the opposite end of the court from Kevin Durant. When will their supposed feud end?
The media’s fascination between beef between two prominent people have always been a thing and leaves much to the imagination. The music media enjoyed the benefits of a supposed east-versus-west coast rivalry which featured rappers Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G.
The sports media loved it when Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal feuded and turned their disagreements into a spectacle. But not since then has the sports media have been embroiled in an on-going drama than how they are for Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. The two former teammates haven’t made amends (not sure if it’s a priority) since Durant made his move to the Golden State Warriors. While Westbrook’s behavior toward the issue doesn’t help matters, it’s given people stuff to talk about.
The two last met last weekend when Durant’s Warriors and Westbrook’s Oklahoma City Thunder dueled. The two brought much entertainment with their play and their mouth, but Westbrook’s emotion toward his former teammate was much apparent.
Any-who, tonight is the All-Star game and the two players are on the same team for the first time since last season. Apparently, Westbrook still doesn’t want anything to do with his former teammate and has elected to warm up on the opposite end of the court.

Apparently, not sure if it’s coincidental or not, but Harden has joined Westbrook on his end of the court, too.

Hopefully, the two former teammates will stop buying into the media’s needs and make amends. Possibly, Westbrook is enjoying the attention and is misbehaving for that reason only. But, we hope that the two can leave all of the nonsense behind once they step on the court. It would be awesome to see an alley-oop from Westbrook to Durant.
