NBA Trade Rumors: DeMarcus Cousins deal taking shape?
According to multiple reports, the Sacramento Kings are getting serious about a trade involving center DeMarcus Cousins.
The NBA All-Star Game is over and trade season is about to be unleashed. Everyone’s favorite NBA insider, Adrian Wojnarowski, has wasted no time waiting to break news. The big fish on the market is Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins.
There has been rumors about Cousins for some time now but it appears it is getting serious. As the All-Star Game was wrapping up on Sunday night. Wojnarowski tweeted out that the Kings have told a mystery team they have a better offer from someone else.
That indicates that the team has an offer that they are weighing heavily. Wojnarowski also reported that Vlade Divac has proposed an offer to the team’s owner, Vivek Ranadive. If people weren’t already abuzz, that tweet did it.

To make matters even more serious, Chris Mannix tweeted out that the Kings weren’t seeking equal value in a deal. That screams that they’re trying to get something done while getting young talent and assets in return for the big man.
