Cam Robinson

OT, Alabama

The Houston Texans have to be happy with their 2016 NFL season, even though it ended in the Divisional Round against the New England Patriots. Despite playing without their best player for nearly the entire year in J.J. Watt, the Texans put together the top-ranked defense in the league, winning the AFC South despite getting nothing from the quarterback position. That is a major cause for concern heading into next year, but you have to think Brock Osweiler is going to get another shot at the position.

Aside from spending big money on Osweiler last offseason, the Texans also brought in a solid running back in Lamar Miller. Miller proved to be as good as advertised, playing very well despite the lack of a passing game. Houston is set on defense, so they must look to bolster their offensive line with pick No. 25 in next April’s NFL Draft.

Cam Robinson is a big man, and is someone who can help an NFL team immediately at the offensive tackle position. He has good feet, and his strength is off the charts. He played on both sides of the line during his time with the Alabama Crimson Tide, though he may be better suited as a right tackle at the next level. Still, the Texans need help up front on offense, and Robinson would be a good, safe pick here this late in round one.
