4. Linebacker

D’Qwell Jackson has been on a straight decline in recent years. To add to that, he recently was popped with a suspension for PEDs. This led to his expected release. Still, they do not have any one on the team to currently replace Jackson. Antonio Morrison looks good, but Josh McNary is a free agent, and Edwin Jackson is just a guy.

They will need to draft an off-ball linebacker and may want to bring in a free agent as well. A cheaper name like A.J. Klein or Sean Spence would serve as great depth and would provide a bridge for a rookie linebacker.

In the first round, it is tough to expect Reuben Foster will be around. Unless they want to roll with Jabrill Peppers and have versatility with guys like T.J. Green, Peppers, and Clayton Geathers all shifting around in the box, they will probably wait until a mid round to address the position.

This reaffirms the idea of adding a free agent. However, there is almost no way that they should go until the fifth round without at least one linebacker being drafted.
