At one time, Jay Cutler was one of the better young quarterbacks in the NFL. Now, he is being shopped by his current team, the Chicago Bears.

Jay Cutler’s time in Chicago looks to be coming to a close, and he will likely be spending the 2017 NFL season with another team. The Bears are looking to trade Cutler, who has been very inconsistent since coming over to the team from the Denver Broncos. Once considered one of the best quarterbacks in the league, Cutler’s play and attitude have been his downfall, and you have to wonder which team is going to take a flier on him considering his past.

A three-time pro bowler, Mike Tolbert has been a mainstay for the Carolina Panthers since 2012, his last season with the San Diego Chargers. Tolbert made the Pro Bowl in 2013, 2015 and 2016, but is coming off a very pedestrian season, statistically. Tolbert was slated to enter the second year of a two-year deal signed last offseason, but it appears the Panthers are looking to get younger at running back for next season.

James Harrison has long been the face of the Pittsburgh Steelers defense, and it looks like he may be coming back for 2017. The Steelers definitely want to bring Harrison back for another season, and he is certainly in shape to do just that. The Steelers were embarrassed by the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, and if they can get Harrison back to anchor their defense, they should be able to make another run.

Staying with the New England Patriots, it is starting to look like they may be in the market for a new backup quarterback in 2017. Jimmy Garoppolo is one of the more sought-after players this offseason, as plenty of NFL teams are weak at the quarterback position. Garoppolo has made three starts for the Pats during his career, throwing five touchdowns against zero interceptions. The Pats want a first round pick for him, and the Cleveland Browns just happen to have two of them.

Finally, the Tom Brady jersey saga took another turn on Tuesday, as police labeled it a first-degree felony. Brady’s jersey is being valued at $500,000 by police, and the authorities are doing all they can to return it to the five-time Super Bowl Champion. Brady led the Pats to a stunning victory in Super Bowl LI, bringing his team back from 25 points in the second half to defeat the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in overtime.
