Syracuse Orange fans were more than ready to let Duke star Grayson Allen know what they think of him
The Duke Blue Devils have been playing some of their best basketball of the season as of late, winning their last seven games. Of course, a good reason for this success has been the play of Grayson Allen, a player we all know is not the most well-liked around the country.
If you needed any more evidence of Allen being maybe the most despised college basketball player walking the face of the Earth at the moment, then Wednesday night inside the Carrier Dome gave us all of that we needed.
Duke and Allen are on the road taking on the Syracuse Orange to see if they can push this current winning streak to eight games, but before the contest got underway, the Orange faithful were not shy one bit about letting Allen know what they really think of him.
To those that have followed the controversial career of Allen, it really should come as no surprise that he gets a reaction like this on the road before the game even gets started. But seeing it happen in this manner really puts into perspective just how loathed the Duke senior guard is outside the confines of Cameron Indoor Stadium.
While Allen isn’t Mr. Popularity at the moment, all he really cares about is keeping this hot streak going for his team so they can get ready to contend for a national title come next month.
