After already being on the move once, Andrew Bogut is expected to be on the move again after a busy NBA trade deadline on Thursday.

The NBA Trade Deadline has been a furious one leading up to the final hours on Thursday, but rumors have been flying and deals have been taking shape. One of the biggest moves of the day saw Philadelphia 76ers big man Nerlens Noel acquired by the Dallas Mavericks for Justin Anderson, Andrew Bogut and a protected lottery pick. However, Bogut’s day is not over.

With the veteran big man being traded to a team that is not contending, his stay isn’t expected to be a long one in Philadelphia. Both David Aldridge and Marc Stein reported that the 76ers were trying to move Bogut somewhere else after acquiring him.

While the deal to Dallas is still going to take some time to make sense, moving Bogut for another asset would make things more clear. Getting Anderson and a protected first was a start but acquiring more after giving up Noel would be even better. If they can’t find a taker for Bogut, then the buyout market is the place where he will end up. Where will he end up? Chris Haynes is reporting that none other than the Cleveland Cavaliers have been watching him all year.

After being an impact player for the Golden State Warriors over recent years, seeing Bogut switch to the other side would certainly be different. Per the CBA, he can’t return to the Warriors this season, so the only option is for him to join the other side for now or another contender.

The trade deadline is always a busy day for many players but Bogut’s going to probably have multiple homes in one day. It’s the nature of the business and as a veteran in the game he is used to it.
