Andrew Bogut was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers, but it seems that Bogut will not get to play in a 76ers uniform.

Andrew Bogut was dealt to the Philadelphia 76ers at the trade deadline in addition to Justin Anderson and a heavily protected first round pick for the 76ers backup center Nerlens Noel.

This trade made sense for both teams. Noel is a very athletic big who has a high ceiling but he would have been stuck in a bench role because of Joel Embiid, the rookie phenomenon, and Dario Saric and Ben Simmons. The Mavericks gain a valuable big in Noel who can replace their need for a center because right now they are running Dirk Nowitzki at center when Dirk is a natural power-forward.

It was reported almost as quickly as the trade was announced that Bogut will be waived if the team could not find another taker for him, as they have no need for him this season. The deadline came and went, and Bogut is still technically on the 76ers. Once Bogut is officially bought out, he will be able to sign wherever he wants once he clears the waivers.

Here are the top five teams that can utilize Bogut’s talent.
