There are many running backs to be had in the 2017 NFL Draft. Here is a list of all the tailbacks that have received an invite to the NFL Scouting Combine.

The 2017 NFL Scouting Combine will have 33 running backs and fullbacks in attendance in Indianapolis. These backs will be among the first to arrive at the scouting combine, along with the offensive linemen and special teamers on Tuesday, Feb. 28. They will complete the evaluations in Indianapolis over a four-day period, heading back to wherever they are training on Friday, Mar. 3.

It was only a matter of time before running backs would come back in style in NFL Drafts. Early success from first-round backs like Ezekiel Elliott, Melvin Gordon and Todd Gurley may have opened the door for more running back prospects to go in day one.

For most people evaluating the upcoming NFL Draft, there are two running backs that are locks to go in the first round without question: Florida State’s Dalvin Cook and LSU’s Leonard Fournette. One is almost certainly going in the top 10, both are probably off the board by No. 16.

There is also a decent chance that any of these three running backs could end up going in the first round: Texas’ D’Onta Foreman, Tennessee’s Alvin Kamara and Stanford’s Christian McCaffrey.

Foreman shined in November for the Longhorns, but is probably a second-round pick more than anything. Kamara is rising of late after a strong year with the Volunteers. He might be the guy of these three going in the late 20s to early 30s. McCaffrey is a late first-round pick at best. Maybe a team like the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, or the New England Patriots take a first-round flier on him?
