Atlantic Sun Tournament 2017 Printable Bracket
A look at a printable version of the 2017 Atlantic Sun Tournament bracket to start setting the stage for March Madness
In the broad scope of March Madness, the Atlantic Sun doesn’t have a sterling track record of upsets. However, they do have one claim to fame and that comes courtesy of the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles after they made their shocking run to the Sweet 16 a few years ago as a No. 15 seed. While Dunk City has undergone major changes, they hope to repeat that performance as they enter the 2017 Atlantic Sun Tournament as the No. 1 seed.
Florida Gulf Coast is clearly the best team in the conference and has been by every measure. As the top seed in the Atlantic Sun Tournament, they went 12-2 in conference play this season. What’s more, they dropped just seven games total on the year, winning 23. Of course, anything can happen this time of year, which they’ll have to be on their toes for.
Perhaps the best place to look for any upsets are the two teams that beat the Eagles this season in conference play. Those two teams are the No. 2 seed Lipscomb Bisons and the No. 4 seed South Carolina Upstate Spartans. While FGCU wouldn’t meet Lipscomp until the Atlantic Sun Tournament final, they could meet SC Upstate in the semifinals, which would be quite intriguing.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at the 2017 Atlantic Sun Tournament bracket below, complete with a printable version if you simply click the image that will lead you to that version:
