Matt and Jeff Hardy appear to be leaving Impact Wrestling

New details are being released that add to the speculation that “Broken” Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy could be leaving Impact Wrestling very soon.

One of the greatest things to happen in recent memory could be “deleted” from Impact Wrestling in the coming weeks. Rumors are flying that Matt and Jeff Hardy could be on their way out the door, and that opens up a world of possibilities.

Matt Hardy has had a huge career resurgence over the last year, with the arrival of his “Broken” character. He’s been one of the most entertaining things TNA has had in quite some time. If you’ve not had a chance to see what he’s all about, do yourself a favor and catch up on him.

But according to PWInsider, all of that could be going away soon. They have confirmed that the brothers could be out of Impact completely by the end of the week. It appears as though a delay in contract delivery is one of the main causes for their departure.

Matt and Jeff had verbally agreed to a new deal back in October, but had not physically received their contracts until just recently. The PW Insider report goes on to state that there was also some details and “language” in the contract that could also be problematic as well.

In a side note, Matt’s wife Reby also took to Twitter to voice her complaints. She even hinted at the possibility of melting down the TNA Tag Team Titles and turning them into jewelry! A lot of what she had to say was rather profane in nature, so I’ll just direct you to her page to see exactly how she feels. What’s that old saying about a woman scorned?

Now we wait to see what the outcome of this will be. Will one of the biggest tag team names of the last 20 years stick around and continue this new legacy that’s been built, or could they possibly be headed back to the land that made them famous, WWE?

Imagine a meeting between “Broken” Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt; .the potential there is borderline maddening. There are literally 100 things that WWE could do with them, depending on what kind of creative control they would have. One would think that they had previously done everything you could do during their initial WWE run in the Attitude Era. But with how Matt and Jeff have evolved, it would be a night and day difference.
