In a new video released by Nintendo, they show you what you should do first once you have the Nintendo Switch.
We’re four days away from the launch of the Nintendo Switch. If there’s one thing that Nintendo has done almost perfectly, it’s the marketing for the system. In the newest video released by the company, we see how to setup the console. Makes sense because that’s what everybody will be doing first.
After you unbox the Switch in all of its glory and plug it in, you’re ready to play. This is actually the first console where you have two different options when playing, which is pretty surreal. You can either place it on the Switch dock and play from your TV, or you can simply play in handheld mode.
Immediately, from what the video shows, the first thing you’ll have to do is select your language and then your region. The next step is to accept the licensing agreement, which is usually the standard for most consoles.
Check out the video below:
The internet settings will show up after. You have the option of connecting via Wi-Fi, which is similar to the past consoles (Wii and Wii U). There’s also an option of connecting through a wired connection, which is usually more reliable.
Then, you’re almost just about ready. You’ll just have to choose your time-zone and connect to TV. We skipped through the rest of the steps because obviously, we just want to talk about what we’re really going to be doing first.
Other than all the initial steps, what we’re really going to be doing is playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. We’re pretty sure this is the biggest reason anybody is buying the Switch in the first place.
