The Golden State Warriors will begin their Eastern Conference road trip against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night.

For the second season in a row, the Golden State Warriors have clinched a playoff spot before the month of February is over. On Monday night, they’ll also have a chance to become the first team to 50 wins on the season when they face the Philadelphia 76ers on the road.

Philadelphia will be without star center Joel Embiid, as he continues to battle a swelling knee. The young 76ers have been playing better as of late with their young talent, but it will be tough without Embiid on the floor.

In their last game, Golden State went through the motions and did what they had to do to defeat the Brooklyn Nets. Without Kevin Durant on the floor, Stephen Curry had a big game but Draymond Green struggled a bit.

The energy and focus the Warriors attempt to bring into this game will be interesting. Will they come out with more fire and intensity on both ends of the floor? Or will they look to conserve energy before tomorrow night’s road game against the Washington Wizards?
