Is Chicago Fire new tonight, Feb. 28? We let you know if the NBC drama is airing a new episode on Tuesday and what you can expect ahead.

Fans of NBC‘s Chicago Fire are wondering if the firefighting drama will be airing a new episode on Tuesday with President Donald Trump’s address to Congress and the much-hyped crossover event that’s in the works.

Chicago Fire is not new tonight, Feb. 28. But before you despair, the series is airing a new episode tomorrow, Wednesday, March 1 at the special early time of 8 p.m. on NBC.

The reason why is because Fire is part of this week’s Chicago Crossover event. It will be the first of three One Chicago shows to air on Wednesday in a three-hour block that contains characters from all four series.

The new episode of Fire will be followed by a new Chicago PD at 9 p.m. and the series premiere of Chicago Justice at 10 p.m.

It all begins with season 5, episode 16 called “Deathtrap.” The episode involves the heroes from Fire responding to a warehouse blaze that threatens the lives of dozens of people. Not only do they have to try and rescue everyone trapped inside, but it’s clear that the fire was deliberately set and so all of the first responders will come together to find out who’s responsible.

So while Chicago Fire fans will have to wait for their next new episode, it’s a less than 24-hour delay and will be more than worth it.
