The 2017 Patriot League Tournament bracket complete with a printable version to follow along throughout the action.

One year ago, the Patriot League saw one of the more shocking outcomes for their conference tournaments that the college basketball world has seen in some time. The Holy Cross Crusaders were barely worth speaking of in the regular season. Yet they turned it on in a major way when March Madness and opportunity came knocking, riding that all the way to a Patriot League Tournament victory and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Holy Cross would have to make a similarly shocking run to win the Patriot League once again as they’ll enter the tournament only as the No. 5 seed. With only a 15-16 record in the regular season, they’ve been far from impressive and/or head-turning throughout the year. Of course, you don’t want to count them out just based on last year alone.

Even still, the Bucknell Bison enter the 2017 Patriot League Tournament as the No. 1 seed by a wide margin. They led the conference by three games with a 15-3 record in conference play. What’s more, they finished with a solid 23-8 record on the year. With a balanced attack, they have several impressive outings on their resume and could be a dangerous team in the Big Dance.

What does Bucknell’s road through the conference tourney look like? Here is the 2017 Patriot League Tournament bracket. For the printable version, simply click the image and you’ll be led to the right place:

Neither Army or American should be much problem for Bucknell in the tournament, but I’d definitely consider a potential meeting with Holy Cross in the semifinals an intriguing matchup to watch.

Don’t sleep on teams like Boston University in the tournament, either. However, this is definitely the Bison’s berth to lose. They clearly sit above the rest in the Patriot League and should consider it a massive disappointment to not prove it.
