Once more, with feeling … and claws … and gamma-irradiated rage …
Not too many characters have history like Wolverine and the Hulk. Longtime Marvel Comics fans know that amazing as it may seem now, Wolverine was introduced in the pages of an issue of The Incredible Hulk and not expected to have a serious future after unsuccessfully trying to take down the Green Goliath.
Fortunately, things turned out just a little differently, and now both characters are comic book icons. They also don’t really like each other too much, and while both have gone through various incarnations, two are even more ornery than the rest: the survivor known as Old Man Logan and the evil Hulk from a dystopian future who calls himself the Maestro.
Logan already knows about battling a Hulk gone bad in his own nightmarish reality, but the difference in Old Man Logan #25 is that the Maestro is a lot smarter than the brute he knows. Thanks to Bruce Banner’s smarts, he’s even got himself a backup plan: the Hulk Gang, who Logan knows all too well.

“Logan’s already battled a future version of Banner who’d gone full hillbilly, and I think the dynamic of him battling against a different, smarter, and more motivated Bruce Banner would be an interesting fight,” writer Ed Brisson said in an interview with Gamespot.com.
That’s not a bad hook at all for an incoming writer, especially when the fight is drawn by Mike Deodato. Place your bets now for this new twist on the classic Wolverine vs. Hulk confrontation and look for Old Man Logan #25 wherever you get your new comics this June.
