Powerless has been picking up steam with every episode in season 1, but will there be a new episode tonight, March 2?
Frankly, the season 1 premiere of Powerless left a lot to be desired. There was rightful hope for the DC Comics sitcom set in Charm City. However, Emily Locke and the rest of the crew at Wayne Security seemed incredibly contrived in that first episode. The jokes were forced and, really, only Alan Tudyk’s Van Wayne made the episode watchable.
Since then, however, the show has been on a redemption tour of sorts. Now that the groundwork has been laid, everything is becoming much more natural and making more sense. We’re starting to know these characters better and know what to expect from them. Though there are times when Powerless seems a bit childish and silly, the good times have started to outweigh the others.
Episode 4 may have been the best yet with “Emily Dates a Henchman.” As we got Emily to start exploring her love-life, it was a fun little comic book tie-in as she was involved with one of The Riddler’s henchmen. Even better was the notion that her paramour was only interested in taking over Wayne Security. That all led to a fantastic conclusion where Van mistakenly saved the day by living out his fantasy dressed as Robin and walking around the office.
After such a high-quality episode, Powerless has the potential to only improve further. Subsequently, viewers may be looking forward to what episode 5 will hold. That begs the question, will fans get to see it this week? Specifically, will Powerless be new on Thursday, March 2?

Unfortunately, there won’t be a new episode of Powerless. In fact, there won’t be an episode at all. The show will take a hiatus this week for The Voice, but will return next week with a new installment on March 9.
