Burnley are forced to leave the fortress Turf Moor and head on the road to face Swansea this weekend. Swansea have been an entirely different team under manager Paul Clement, with three wins and four losses since he took over from Bob Bradley. They’ve looked a team inspired under the English manager, and have looked good against some of the best teams in the league, beating Liverpool at Anfield and pushing Chelsea close last weekend.
Sean Dyche’s Burnley have yet to look the same team on the road as they do when they’re on their home field. The struggle for Burnley will be to play confident forward thinking soccer against a Swansea team in relatively good form. Andre Gray looks to stay on the front foot against a Swansea back line that has been solid, but shown the ability to crash against pacey forwards.
Swansea will look to target Fernando Llorente in the box with pinpoint crosses, while relying heavily on the creativity of Gylfi Sigurdsson throughout the center of the park. The creativity of Sigurdsson and the finishing ability of Llorente have been the two bright spots in a lackluster Swansea attack throughout the season thus far.
