According to Tim Tebow, it’s his dream to adopt a child from every continent.
Tim Tebow is well known for being a media darling. He’s one of the most polarizing sports figures of the past 25 years. Say what you want about Tebow’s talent or ability to play sports, he constantly finds his name in the headlines. In a recent interview with People.com, he spoke about his ultimate dream.
“If I could adopt a kid from every continent … that would be a pretty cool goal,” said Tebow, via People. “I want to sit around the dinner table ever night and see kids from Africa, Asia, Europe, South America, right here in the States. When you look at God’s family, it’s not about color … love knows no color. I want my kids to grow up with an appreciation for every single person, no matter what they look like.”
Tebow was born in the Philippines and growing up in a variety of cultures as a missionary’s son has made a huge impact on his life. However, it’s worth noting he forgot to mention two continents. Tebow didn’t mention Antartica. But to be fair, considering it’s the least populated continent on Earth, he likely wouldn’t be able to adopt someone from there. However, Tebow also forgot about Australia. So maybe he won’t be adopting someone from there.

It remains to be seen precisely how Tebow plans to provide for his family. Currently, the Heisman Trophy winner is pursuing a career in baseball. Last year, Tebow signed a minor league deal with the New York Mets. The former Florida Gators star is trying to make it as an outfielder. However, after being sent to the Arizona Fall League, Tebow had a .192 batting average, which suggests he’s not close to being ready to compete in the majors.
