Day 6 of the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine will be on Sunday, Mar. 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Here is the schedule for the events going on.

There are only two more days left at the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. NFL teams have learned so much about this year’s entrants into the 2017 NFL Draft.

The special teams players and the offensive guys have all completed their work in Indianapolis. They will be heading back to their respective college campuses to get ready for their upcoming pro days.

However, there are still four key position groups that still have work to do in Indianapolis. Those four groups are all on defense. The defensive front-seven players have one more day worth of work at the scouting combine. As for the secondary, Sunday, Mar. 5 will be the first of two big days to show the scouting world what they are all about.

Here is the schedule for Day 6 of the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine:

Groups

Day 3 arrivals: Defensive linemen, linebackers
Day 4 arrivals: Cornerbacks, safeties

Schedules

Day 3 arrivals: On-field workout, departure
Day 4 arrivals: Psychological testing, meeting with NFLPA, media, bench press, interviews

The defensive linemen and linebackers have already done their many interviews, gotten measured and even pumped some iron. Sunday will be all about how they perform down on the Lucas Oil Stadium field turf. Events like the three-cone drill, the shuttle run and the 40-yard dash will be their areas of focus on Sunday.

As for the secondary players, we will get to see them participate in the bench press. Though pumping iron isn’t overly important to the overall success of an NFL defensive back, it could indicate which safeties like to be physical and which corners have the upper body strength to play press man. They’ve also got the big days with the football media. It should be a good time.
