Jabrill Peppers is the standout athlete from Michigan Universty and there have been many questions pertaining to where he will be on the field when he is drafted.
Jabrill Peppers is the phenomenal athlete in this upcoming draft. Not only was he a Heisman finalist for the 2016 college football season, but he also won the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year award.
There have been questions among the teams and fans alike about what position he will play once he finally enters the league. In college, Peppers played a multitude of positions for coach Jim Harbaugh. He played nickel back, safety, and linebacker and he was successful at all three positions.
Peppers is a playmaker, which allowed him to be good at all three positions in college, but the NFL is a bit different than college. Standing at 5-foot-11 and 213 pounds, he is a bit undersized to be playing linebacker in the NFL.
Over the weekend, Peppers answered the question that everyone was asking. He stated that he is a safety. The one problem with Peppers being a safety at the highest level of football is that he only had one interception in college which is not something that an NFL will want out of their first-round safety.
But, Peppers might not get to play safety for the team that drafts him.
Peppers has been contacted by a couple of teams who both asked if he would be willing to play on the offensive side of the ball as a running back or a slot receiver.
