Here’s what transpired in the RAW Tag Team Championship Match between Enzo and Cass vs. Enzo and Gallows at Fastlane.
Since debuting on RAW the night after WrestleMania last year, Enzo and Cass have become a fan favorite, mixing it up with just about every Tag Team on the roster, but never actually got to hold championship gold. Meanwhile, Gallows and Anderson are the current Tag Team Champions, despite not having many memorable moments since their debut. They’re actually pretty tough dudes, when they’re not getting squashed by Roman Reigns.

Enzo and Cass came out to the ring first, and gave their usual spiel, something about not being able to teach things, and a local reference, this one about the Milwaukee Bucks. Once Gallows and Anderson came out, things started heating up.

Anderson and Enzo started the match, and the Champs took no breaks taking turns beating on Enzo, showing how dominant as a team they can be. It was really not looking good for Enzo, as he desperately needed to make a tag to his partner. Oh wait, here he goes…

Whoops. That had to hurt. After another minute of taking some serious pain, Enzo finally made the tag. Big Cass put the boot to both Anderson and Gallows, and Enzo got his BADA-BOOM-SHAKA-LAKA on. It wasn’t enough, however, as Gallows broke up Enzo’s pin. Anderson ended up pinning Enzo after a knee right to the face, and even though Enzo had his foot on the bottom rope, Gallows pushed it off before the referee noticed. One, Two, Three, Tag Team Champs are retained. Too easy, too sweet.
JUST LIKE THAT, @LukeGallowsWWE and @KarlAndersonWWE are STILL your #RAW #TagTeamChampions...but not without controversy! #WWEFastlane pic.twitter.com/9uLwyrqIw4
