WWE Fastlane 2017 results: Bayley vs Charlotte video highlights

Did Charlotte keep her pay-per-view streak alive and recapture the WWE RAW Women’s Championship from Bayley at WWE Fastlane 2017?

Bayley and Charlotte entered WWE Fastlane 2017 as something far from strangers. Whether in tag matches or in a few singles matches as well, the RAW Women’s Champion and challenger had seen one another in the squared circle on several occasions in recent years. However, the stakes were higher than ever before with Charlotte trying to get her title back and keep her pay-per-view unbeaten streak alive.

Early on, it was The Queen and former champion that was the aggressor and the one with the advantage. She simply overpowered the champion time and again and wouldn’t have any of Bayley trying to get the upper hand or even any kind of breathing room:

The onslaught continued and everything looked quite dire for the champion in that moment.

Always resilient, however, Bayley continued to look for her windows where she could get some offense rolling. She was able to catch Charlotte with some heavy strikes and then started to land some bigger moves, including her big splash into the corner:

That wasn’t the end of it, though, Charlotte was also highlighting her resiliency as she wouldn’t take any of the big offense that the champ was landing. Even when The Hugger was able to make the challenger go splat with a Belly-to-Bayley from the apron to the floor, The Queen wouldn’t be denied her shot at the title.

Or at least she wouldn’t give up her shot at the title without someone else there to take away her chance.

Sasha Banks came out to the ring to help out her best friend, Bayley. Not only did she try to attack Charlotte on the outside, but she also alerted the ref to The Queen trying to roll Bayley up with the tights. Ultimately, that frustrated the challenger enough for her to put her guard down and for the champion to get the pin and retain.
