Baylor enters the Big 12 tournament on a two-game winning streak. They pulled off a big win at home against West Virginia to avoid a three-game losing streak and major questions. Then, they took care of Texas on the road to head into the Big 12 tournament as the three seed. Baylor missed the double bye, but they are still one win away from being in another game with West Virginia to prove that they deserve the chance to knock of Kansas as the kings of the Big 12. First, Baylor has to get a win against Kansas State, who is playing for their tournament lives.

Kansas was on top when the rankings began, and Kansas finished on top, where they always seem to be. Life is good for the Jayhawks. They come into the Big 12 tournament 28-3. They are the one seed in the tournament, a projected one seed in the NCAA tournament, and haven’t lost since February 4th. They Jayhawks have won eight straight games and that includes wins over West Virginia, Baylor and Oklahoma State. The Jayhawks are set up with a double bye and get the winner of the Texas Tech, Texas game.
