Wizards at Suns live stream: How to watch online
By Kparrish Jr
The Phoenix Suns (21-42) will host the Washington Wizards (37-24) on Tuesday night. Here is how to watch this NBA game online.
After escaping the Orlando Magic with a tight 115-114 victory Sunday night at the Verizon Center, the Wizards head off to Phoenix beginning a five-game road trip on the west coast. The Wizards slithered past Orlando, with a 36-24 run in the fourth quarter, erasing an 11-point Magic lead to secure the win. Bradley Beal was impressive with 32 points, followed by John Wall’s 19 points and 10 assists. But recent acquisition Bojan Bogdanovic stole the show, igniting Washington’s bench with 27 points.
The Wizards have had the upper hand against the Suns, winning three of their last four matchups, and they’ll look to carry that momentum on the road Tuesday night. Unlike their meeting in November, Washington has a more reliable bench after acquiring Bogdanovic who’s been dominant off the bench averaging 18.2 points in his last five games. The signing of Brandon Jennings has also addressed Washington’s back-up point guard need, moving the struggling Trey Burke to third string on the depth chart.
The Phoenix Suns are coming off one of their best wins of the seasons, defeating the superior Boston Celtics, 109-106, on a 3-pointer by Tyler Ulis with 1.2 seconds left. Just like the Wizards, the Suns’ bench was highly suspect in their last meeting, scoring just 20 points. Now, behind Tyler Ulis, Alan Williams and Derrick Jones Jr, Phoenix’s has a 141-72 bench scoring edge across their first three-game winning streak of the season
Expect a young team in Phoenix with no playoff aspirations in sight, to try and take advantage of a Wizards team for a confidence-building win. Despite the recent struggles of Markieff Morris, Otto Porter Jr., and Marcin Gortat, Washington is in good position to capitalize against the 29th-ranked defense in Phoenix, as Bradley Beal did in their last meeting, scoring a career-high 42 points.
