To do so, they’d love to garner some momentum in the 2017 Big East Tournament.
Villanova enters the Big East Tournament as the No. 1 seed and the No. 2-ranked team in the country. They finished with a 28-3 overall record, going 15-3 in conference play. Even still, their road through the tourney at Madison Square Garden won’t be a cake-walk.
From the Creighton Jays to the Butler Bulldogs to the Providence Friars, this is one of the deeper conferences in college basketball. Almost any team can beat any of the other nine on any night.
