Known more for his passing abilities, Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul hits an impressive half-court buzzer-beater like it’s nothing new for him.

Chris Paul has been one of the best point guards in the NBA for the last decade. He does everything well, from distributing the basketball to playing lock-down defense.

In case people forgot that Paul can really shoot it, he put that doubt to rest with this crazy half-court shot he made at the second quarter buzzer on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

His alma mater Wake Forest Demon Deacons had a crazy buzzer-beater go in earlier on Thursday night. Hokies, Timberwolves, what’s the difference. Demon Deacons get buckets with seconds left before half from the other side of the court. It’s a thing called March Madness.

The Los Angeles Clippers have hovered around the No. 4 and No. 5 seed in the Western Conference playoff picture for the last several weeks. It is apparent that Los Angeles isn’t winning the Pacific Division or doing any better than the No. 4 seed in the West this year.

That’s a tad problematic, as that would mean the Clippers would have to face the division rival Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Semifinals. The Clippers can only hope that Golden State fades in the wake of the Kevin Durant injury and becomes the No. 2 seed.

That way Los Angeles could play a team in the conference semifinals it matches up with significantly better in the San Antonio Spurs. Keep in mind that the Clippers defeated the Spurs in their first-round series in the 2015 NBA Playoffs. We’ll see what happens with the Clippers come playoff time, but that half-court shot by Paul sure was a thing of beauty.
