Brock Osweiler traded to Browns: Twitter reacts to big NFL trade

After an absolutely off-the-wall trade involving Texans QB Brock Osweiler and the Browns, what does Twitter think about it?
The Texans traded QB Brock Osweiler and a 2018 2nd round pick to the Browns just so they could absorb Osweiler’s cap hit, and on this busy free agency Thursday, people are really excited. The Browns are making moves, and it looks like the Texans made this one to maybe potentially be able to pursue Tony Romo. It makes sense given Romo’s massive cap hit, but that’s for another day.

Clearly some mixed opinions on this trade by fans, but Texans fans are clearly very happy to be rid of Osweiler. Very funny ones at that. A new era in Houston has begun, and Texans fans are rightfully excited and Browns fans have some interesting moves in store for the future. Brock is likely not going to stay long in Cleveland because they are likely looking for a quarterback in the draft. This trade was damaging to Osweiler.

He got traded so the Browns could take his cap hit and some picks, and they’re likely to get rid of him anyways. Whatever happens today has been an extremely interesting one in the NFL.
