To celebrate one of the best times of the year in sports, March Madness, Sports Illustrated has released an all-new interactive cover showcasing the teams

In case you haven’t looked at a calendar over the course of the last week, the month of March is here. For sports fans, especially fans of the hardwood, that can mean only one thing — March Madness is here. This week the conference tournaments are all in full swing as we await to see who the field of 68 will be in the 2017 NCAA Tournament, which will begin next week.

Each and every year our colleagues over at Sports Illustrated release commemorative issues for March Madness, showcasing some of the teams in the field. Well this year, they’re taking things to a different, pretty awesome level.

Beginning on Thursday, Sports Illustrated is presenting everyone with an interactive cover for the NCAA Tournament where they will feature every team in the NCAA Tournament field for 2017. Thus far, seven conference tournaments have come to a close, meaning seven teams have already qualified for the Big Dance, hoping to be the next Cinderella story that everyone is talking about later this month. These seven teams are already featured on the cover, and of course more will be added as programs continue to punch their automatic tickets.

You can follow along with the cover as more teams are added by clicking this link here.

Again, this is a cover of the magazine that will eventually feature all 68 teams –represented by coaches, players, mascots and cheerleaders — by the time all is said and done. Selection Sunday will be taking place this Sunday, March 12, and the print issue featuring the finished product on the cover will be available to the public on Thursday, March 16, which of course is the day the First Round will be underway.
